Algorithms and Data Structures. Exploring the design, analysis, and understanding of basic algorithmic techniques. The analysis of algorithms focuses on the amount of resources (such as time and storage) necessary to execute them, on datasets of arbitrary size. In this course, students will familiarize themselves with the application of fundamental algorithm design techniques, and learn to recognize fundamental algorithms and data structures that serve as the building blocks for more sophisticated applications.
