The goal of this project is to implement bounce animations of two physically-based marionette characters. The character will be composed of rigid body arms, legs, torso, head, and hat with joints made from springs (one prototype constructed from struts and one from torsional springs). Additionally, the character will ride a horse whose body will animate based on a lattice deformer and legs also attached with additional springs. The animation should approximate movement of a suspended marionette puppet while being entertaining and comical to watch. Finally, I will attempt to implement this simulation in Unity, to later use for game design purposes.
