This textbook/disk package contains Metrowerks CodeWarrior Lite and code for all the examples in the text. CodeWarrior Lite contains a C compiler that allows the example projects to be altered and printed, but does not allow new projects to be created.

Goals and Objectives --

Learn basics of the C language and how to compile C on the Macintosh using the Metrowerks Codewarrior Compiler.

Learn to use electronic mail.

Learn to use a word processor (using ClarisWorks).

Learn elementary procedures for using a spreadsheet (using ClarisWorks).

Learn how to access information on the World Wide Web (using Netscape).

Discuss Societal impact of computing, including ethical issues.
