Project 3 -- Short VFX Shot Sequence

Objectives

1. Solo or groups of two or three people unless propose and clear a larger group which may mean more shots / larger project.
2. Three or more VFX shots edited into a brief, cohesive short – each shot should involve compositing and some additional technical challenge such as projection, relighting, matchmove, deep compositing, use of Cattery tool, face replacement, or other – propose ideas and ask in class.
3. Possible exceptions to above if completing a more advanced shot (Say for instance, Tyler making a final, polished version of the shot discussed in class, or a proposed more advanced shot by your group).
4. Aim for production ready / portfolio quality.
5. One of many possible check-plus ideas is to also generate a BTS video which could also be useful for your reel. High quality work and documentation are also helpful.
