Reading and Review

Read through chapter 2 in Oppenheim and Schafer (3rd edition). Good practice before we begin formal homework assignments would be to complete some of the problems 2.1-2.20 where you can reference answers in appendix C of the text. After chapter 2 review, your goal should be that you are comfortable with concepts of sequences as representations of discrete-time signals, linear time invariant systems, various representations of the previous, basic concepts of frequency response, and the main properties and theorems of the discrete-time Fourier transform and its inverse.
