This is a great exercise developed by Patricio Gonzalez Vivo (same author as Book of Shaders) that builds from simple functions progressively through to make a deck full of fun and interesting images — it’s quite related to our recent assignment. Part of the great brain work is converting them from a GLSL setup to our NumPy setup for Qt, which helps for procedural building and also for practice understanding shader language more.
Two possibilities here:
(1) ”Upgrade” on assignment one level (say from check to check-plus): Submit at least the first 10 cards working in your Qt program.
(2) Get the “upgrade” above and replace another assignment with a “check plus”: Complete the whole deck.
With either of the above, document with a well written pdf showing images, text, or code as needed.
Submit any time before the end of the semester.
