Who is Lazaris?

"Lazaris is a nonphysical entity. He is a consciousness without form -- a Spark of Light, a Spark of Love -- an energy that has never chosen to take human form. He is most frequently known as "the one who waits for us at the edge of our reality."

"Lazaris is wise beyond what we have known, loving beyond what we have conceived, and committed to each of us in our search for enlightenment. He is a delightful friend -- a gentle and powerful guide for our Spiritual Journey Home to God/Goddess/AllThat Is.

"The way that Lazaris communicates to us is called channeling -- in this case Objective, Full-Trance Channeling. That means several things. "Objective" means that Lazaris is not a part of the consciousness of his channel. "Full Trance" means that the channel (Jach Pursel) is not aware of what is being said during the trance state. "Channeling" is perhaps best described by Lazaris directly:

"In order to communicate with you, we send forth a series of vibrations. These vibratory frequencies go through a series of 'step-down generations' until they can safely enter your reality.

"The energy field of the one you call Jach acts like an antenna; his body, like an amplifier. The vibration we create in our reality is thus amplified in your reality. Your ears and eyes pick up those amplified frequencies and translate them into sounds - your hear a voice - and pictures - you see animation.

"When we communicate we are not in the body - how archaic! Such behavior is not more necessary than having your nightly nmewscaster actually be in your television set!

"We keep the channel in a sleep-like state so that he stays out of the way. It would be possible for him to 'witness' what we say - to 'listen' as the vibrations go by - but we prefer him to be completely out of the way. The best way to keep the information pure is to have the channel be as much a 'pure instrument' as possible."
