Many of the assets related to organizational or technical planning are plans for one type of activity or another. The
most common mistake made by organizations is to attempt ot write a plan without actually planning first.
A plan is the documentation of decisions made during planning. The plan is not a stream of consciousness dialog. It is
a summary and as such some of the discussion lists what will be done while other parts give a rationale for those
actions.
A plan in a software product line will often cover information of interest to both core asset and product builders. It
is usually a good idea to include a section for each group that focuses on their particular need.
