Artifact: Ontology
To ensure consistent and correct understanding, a product line organization will create a model of concepts and relationships concerning the domain in which the products are based. An ontology provides a vocabulary consisting of the names of these concepts and relationships. The language using the vocabulary uses the concept names as nouns and the behaviors of those concepts as verbs.
