As an educated professional you should be able to read and evaluate research. For this assignment you are to read the paper provided in class. Write a summary and a critique of the research. The summary should

• state the main research problem addressed by the paper
• describe the research method being used
• how does the authors prove that their conclusions are true
• summarize the results reported by the paper

The critique should be your opinion of the validity and merit of the research. This should be your personal opinion but it should be based on facts. If you question the validity, how is the method flawed? Are the assumptions upon which the research is based reasonable?
