Preparation for using AADL in Eclipse
- Setup
Eclipse for AADL use: Go to www.aadl.info
and follow their directions to install Eclipse and the AADL plugins.
- Download
the Introduction to AADL tech report from here.
It is referenced on the front page of the www.aadl.info
site.
- Download
the examples zip from
here and from here.
Each one is a project in the AADL Eclipse plug-in.
- Do
Import => AADL Project and add the sample projects to your Eclipse
setup.
- Learn
to switch among the text, xml, and graphical modes of the environment.
- Use
the intro to AADL and the example models to begin to understand the syntax
of the language.
- Kyungsoo Im will answer some
questions in class on Tuesday and I am available via email (with some
delay due to time differences)
- Construct
a small description of an architecture that consists of a client and a
server with lines of communication between them.
Understand the problem domain in which we will work.

the requirements document
- Read
the resource materials on Travelers’ Assistance found on the assignment
page
- Complete
the use case descriptions found in this
document. You must create a table for EVERY use case in the use case diagram.
