Example: Client-Server Architecture
Relationships
Description
Main Description

One of the oldest architectures is the client/server. This is made much more complex when the Enterprise Java architecture uses the client/server architecture to implement e-commerce.

The 3-tier and 4-tier architectures have much in common but differ in a specific way - one more tier.

There is also two flavors - thin client and thick client. The difference? The trade-off between power of the required hardware versus the amount of traffic between the two components of the architecture.
