To get a good understanding follow this tutorial that will show you how to use a pre-configured tomcat. You can test this by publishing your version of the textbook as a J2EE WAR file. That option is available in the sequence of wizards that are invoked when you begin the Publishing sequence. It is on the same wizard as the one that allows a file name for the published website.
