CpSc 881 - Project 1 - Real-time Embedded Software
Phase 3 - Architectural Styles
An architectural style is a specific decomposition rule with explicit relationships between the modules. Each style has specific effects on the quality attributes of the system. In this assignment you will begin constructing the architecture for the wireless device.
Activities
- Begin the decomposition of the system into modules using specific styles
- Document each style used - what style and why
- Examine the interactions between styles where they overlap or interact
- Represent the decomposition in AcmeStudio
Evaluation Criteria
Completeness of the coverage of the styles over the architecture
Validity of rationale for selection of each style.
