 Phase 4 – Architecture Refinement

An architecture evolves over time. Early versions are evaluated and refined to more completely achieve the quality attribute levels specified in the requirements.

 

Activities

  • Arrange to have another team perform an ATAM on your architecture.
  • Revise your architecture where the ATAM indicates that improvement is needed.
  • Submit the revised architecture description and attach a copy of the ATAM report from the other group(include their names and their test scenarios). In your submission describe how each of the problems identified in the ATAM has been remedied.

 

Evaluation Criteria

  • Quality of the architecture
  • Completeness of the refinement description

 Credit

  • Worth 4 points

Due

  • Wednesday, April 24th by noon (that is 12pm, not 12:30 or 1pm) in the Computer Science office
