Project Overview

This application is being designed based on a real life problem with Point of Sale restaurant systems. The problem is that there is no easy way for a manager to obtain data that is stored in the point of sale system when he/she is at a remote location and not in the store. I hope to acomplish a web front end to the POS system and possibly a way for managers to obtain data from their cell phones.

The Point of Sale system has a front end with which employees work and sell food. It also has a backend where managers can view what items are sold, which employees are on the clock, items in inventory, etc.... My system will combine the functionality of both of these and will allow both employees to sell food and managers to view data.
