A counter culture coffee calamity of Grande latte style. Espresso Depresso satirizes the way we incorporate coffee into our lifestyles. Inside the Espresso Depresso, a swank over-priced coffee joint, we see Goth beatniks, over-the-hill burnouts, stuffy self-centered yuppies, and an irate barista who endures the heavy burden of such clientele. It's through her trials and tribulations that we see how coffeehouse culture can lend itself to dark roasted comedy.Espresso Depresso was created by David Donar with music composed and performed by Doug Brody. Voice talents were by Dan Farmer and Kersten Meader.The film had its television premiere on MTV's Cartoon Sushi.
